The witch in a healing session. Know this: its not that she's exhausted from effort that she sleeps. She sleeps to dream the dreams that will grant her more.
In witchery we harmonize with each other deeply with entrance rituals. Then we practice and grow these gifts in whatever form the specific witch develops in. Some hear, some see, some are telepathic, some oracular, some see the future, some dream the truth, some easily pass or control energy, some summon, some have great will that effects others, some will teach others, some want to try it all. I normally only share witchery style candle workings with witches wanting more experience, or women wanting to become witches.
Its not always fun, that's for certain. We study ourselves and come face to face with our shadows, only now they are larger than life, because our work to awaken ourselves has given them energy. But like an onion skin layer, they must be looked at and peeled away. So we do. This is what's called the dark. Its not until we work through a great deal of these things that we work spells together as a group, because underlying motivations will always show themselves and you must have your subconscious and your conscious mind in sync in order for them to work. The main point at the beginning is to bond with Nature and the Powers that Be. Then they will show the witch her inner desires fulfilled:) Of course its in the witch's nature to work spells from the beginning on her own and part of the guide's responsibility is to help her to process through whatever repercussions that come from any backfires that happen and they do tend to happen! Lol!
There are some beautiful ways of connecting with the Goddess within. I would first have you contemplate a rose. Get a beautiful rose that you love the color of. (The color you pick would tell me a great deal about you and I would elaborate on that if one wished.) Get a rose that is open slightly, not a bud. Look into its center for a long time. Feel the petals. Smell the aroma. Bask in the feelings it gives you. Spend some time with this, an hour would be good. Listen to what messages you receive from the practice of paying attention to the rose.
Second step for the mature: Pull the petals off of the rose and sprinkle them on your bed. Have a hand mirror. Be naked and relaxed. Feel the petals, feel your skin, the softness. Look at the rose and look at your own private rose in your garden below with the mirror. Notice the folds, how they are like the rose. Feel the softness of your own petals. No rush, no goal other than just gentle looking and feeling until you stop, when you wish.
The third step: Your consort contemplates the rose and your rose. No pressure, no sex, just his admiration for your beautiful garden rose.
Realize the beauty you see and feel is the radiance of the Goddess within. Be grateful you carry such beauty.
There is much more, but this is a good beginning as any.
These appeared at my feet, all but two of them within the last 2 days on my walking. All raven feathers, except for the one seagull feather I found while walking in the waves on Sunday. Definitely a message there. Hecate says I'm going the right direction, for one. Yet, there is more.
