That's all fine and good to be nice, but sometimes we need to release in order to "release" it away. Otherwise we can
hold onto it and form resentments. I can't tell you how many "love and light" people I have seen explode when they really began doing the real deep work that comes from seeing their own shadows, myself included in my time of this...Now I find it best to say what needs to be said, but not worry so much about everything else but the moment that is, while at the same time looking ahead of your actions to see their outcome before choosing to act on anything that comes up. A blunt person will be soon known as a blunt person, and they will realize its just "YOU". Then, if they take offense, its really their own wounds that are
being touched upon. In effect making the blunt person a healer of a deeper, darker sort.
When I was nice and kind, I was a pushover. Now that I say what's on my mind, people know where I stand and they
respect me for this.
Science and religion are ways of understanding the universe, not in its entirety
of course, but they are functional theories that can be used by culture in order
to "make sense" of things enough so that the average person doesn't walk around
dumbstruck in the "awe" someness of facing what's really out there. In that way,
society can function in a streamlined way for the "normal" folk. Magic works to
make aware those connections with the awe for the persons who are able to face
it or are meant to work with it, aka, witches, shaman, mages, druids, wizards,
etc. Of course, more regular folk's eyes are "opened" every day by the witch to
the reality of magic. So some will know of magic, whether they actively work
with it or not. And this is as it should be.
Have you worked this mystery?
