 As witches, we grow a candle in our belly, with the charging and then share this charge process with the next who comes. When this charge connects to the will, then powerful things happen indeed. That's where the spells can come into play (although you'll find that there is not so much need or desire for them at some point, because what's needed comes automatically).
Growing and releasing the charge itself has been the base of my work so far. It is the base of the root. The rest grows as we are given them in vision, synchronicity, voice from the Goddesses and more.
As far as it goes, the difference between many types of witches is what will is being used with the charge. If its just the desires of the witch that come into play, come what may, then she may be seen as more manipulative or sorceress-like (that can have problems of its own we can go into later).
If she is connected to a higher will, such as deities or dragons' (or even what's sometimes called her higher self) then that will looks at any situation from a wider perspective. This type of witch will be seen as more in line with serving a greater good.
Shouldn't one who is seeking witch or being witch strive to have or show that radiating power coming up from within?
Isn't power the hallmark of the witch?
Shouldn't it be a guide's job to help them to bring out and express this power?
Isn't that step one, this power? It is from what I've seen.
Then, what is done with this power comes next, step two. Many things..in many ways, some known to you and some not so obvious, at first.

The forces and powers don't work on democratic discussion and consensus. They work by what you show in energy and what you do.
Yet, its up to the patterns and forms of history to give namings within magic. Yes, these may shift as history marches on into the future.
But for our understanding, we look to the ancient and work their designs, for this is the foundation of the future... And its a
strong foundation indeed.
If its witch you seek, its not some hippy, dippy religion. Its contact with the forces, and they will make your body react in ways you cannot always expect. But your freedom will be known and your bonds to them will be shown. You will find yourself walking in more than one world, as you are taken beyond and brought back anew. Others will hate, others with not understand, others will love, yet it all depends on their acceptance of the energies you carry and the forces that come. It is never boring and will make you live at edge of your seat, even if you are pushed to the floor.
The keys to witch. Communicate and you will see, a world around that can be found, silent whispers find their mystery in servant's quarters of time and mortar, it calls to you to find the due, when all is found, your name renound, in all the world, they know you well, in everything the secrets tell of time and space and time and place, of fire and air and all found fair, of sky and land, and what's in your hand, to see the tree of life you shall eat.
So how you know when you go to other places, in different spaces, we find the lock in others socks, the key to know me.
Welcome well and castles fell of high regard, you know the tard of shell and keel, to see what's real, how to fail, put in the nail, you go away and say so stay, I know the ride is far and wide, but stay on stay and seize the day, to ward your blessing, there will be no guessing, to find the answer, seek the master.
 The funny thing is, becoming a witch can't really be made into school courses. We laugh about this, because its really a process of interacting with forces, not just some book you can read.
Nature, the beings, the forces, want to know you. When you want to know how to know them, how to be with them, at first you will begin to notice the crumbs that have been thrown along the way by the ones who came before. When you pick up these crumbs, eventually you may find the door where piles of these crumbs may be found, so you knock. Will the door open? Will you be welcomed in to know more? You are asked "What do you seek?"

Last night, I looked into the mirror and they lay down and closed my eyes. I heard voices calling me, so I responded. They asked me to come. I walked into a large temple room with the black candles as tall pillars. I walked in the middle of it, realizing I was carrying a lit green candle. The carpet running towards the middle of the pillars was long and red. I realized you were at the right and Torrah near the left pillar. I walked to right in front of the mirror and turned my head to nod at each of you in turn. I put my hand through the mirror and walked through... It was so bright in there, the sky is blue. My dragon Lymt is there brightly white. I stroke its side and hug it lovingly. The skin scales are like a snakes, soft and slightly rippled. I didn't see its face yet, but I climbed onto the dragon's back and he flew me up in the air, where we began to circle around and I saw a shining, white and sparkling castle up on a rocky mountain surrounded by foliage, trees all around. I didn't see a road, so it seemed that the only way up was to be flown by the dragon. He flew me up to the castle and I walked in the door and into a large library. I felt my hand run across the spine of many books, old, worn and leather covers. The smell of the leather mixed with the small bit of dust, they were so old. I pulled one down from the shelf and opened it. I couldn't read it, but was so happy to be in the room knowing that I have access to these works at other times when I need to know the info.. I realized that a witch wouldn't normally be up here and I felt really proud, but at the same time I knew I have a responsibility to the witches that come.My power as a witch would still remain, would not be given up, although I am in this beautiful room with all of the books. I was so grateful.I knew this....There is more.

 In times when there is not much to say, just know there is much being done...
Circle of candles, bode thee well, but who comes?..the moment will tell. Its for the witch to take a moment and go into it so far...messages arrive, plans contrive, emotions stirred, powers blurred into the one who lives the lesson, and then she finds, she's never guessin'.
Its quite strange and sad to see how the word witch is being used to describe
so much that is unwitchy.
Nowadays, according to most of what's out there, if you weren't aware of the
past, you'd think that a witch is a nun who just happens to wear white and trips
over her robe as she walks...
But we are here to remind the present of the past and the power of the witch
incarnate NOW!
(As for other's reactions) A bit of fear is normal when something real is faced. But past the fear is
something much more great when a heart has been touched by a witch. But the
person or lesson or message has to be worth the time for a witch, because she
doesn't take her desires lightly and isn't a ticker-tape love parade.
