Shouldn't one who is seeking witch or being witch strive to have or show that radiating power coming up from within?

Isn't power the hallmark of the witch?

Shouldn't it be a guide's job to help them to bring out and express this power?

Isn't that step one, this power? It is from what I've seen.

Then, what is done with this power comes next, step two. Many things..in many ways, some known to you and some not so obvious, at first.

The forces and powers don't work on democratic discussion and consensus. They work by what you show in energy and what you do.

Yet, its up to the patterns and forms of history to give namings within magic. Yes, these may shift as history marches on into the future.

But for our understanding, we look to the ancient and work their designs, for this is the foundation of the future... And its a
strong foundation indeed.

Circle of candles, bode thee well, but who comes?..the moment will tell. Its for the witch to take a moment and go into it so far...messages arrive, plans contrive, emotions stirred, powers blurred into the one who lives the lesson, and then she finds, she's never guessin'.

Be back at Christmastime. Why do I use this term, you may ask, me being a witch and all? Because, although I understand the past histories and traditions that come into the celebrations of Christmas (Saturnalia, Yuletide, etc),  cultural holidays don't have any real bearing on witchcraft, except for in that a witch may choose to celebrate or aknowledge them as a part of her life existance with loved ones (Or the holidays may be just another day).

The witch is surrounded by the enviroment she is in, so of course the environment touches upon her and she touches back. Holidays are not the center or root of a witch's power. That comes from her connections and skills. The work gets done when the energy is right by FEEL and MESSAGES given by the powers that be, and there are four seasons in which to do these things a witch does.

Simply stated, I grew up celebrating Christmas with my family and I see no reason not to continue having a tree, presents, candles, music, and a ham dinner, just because I found out over the years that I was being contacted with forces that wanted to get to know me and work with me.

Just becuase I am a witch, that doesn't mean I have to decide to ignore perfectly good opportunities to have celebrations with my family and friends in order to pick another day and then try to recreate some new religious pattern with minimal real-life continuations to back it up, just because that's what modern witches are supposed to do! Lol!

I go with the energy! Invite me to your celebration, and whatever religion or lack of religion it is from, I may come for the party and friendships, but don't expect it to be the basis of my witchcraft. Because that was taken care of already.

It hasn't been until I started working with a dragon that I am willing to explore other's designs (in the realms of spiritual groups, metaphysical, pagans etc). The dragon shows me the truth of any situation by the energy and power involved in the moment. But that has taken many years for me to be able to become a pillar myself, so I can intermingle with anyone else without losing myself on their turf, in their designs, even at church. This is why I am free to accept working with others, helping with their work when I see value in their designs or value in a person as a friend. Its different on my turf. They must ask and then there are the oaths...

The powers have high standards for the witches I guide, and the witches I guide have high standards for themselves. I am friendly and kind, but will not give away easily what has to be earned through dedication to those forces we work with. As it was with me, so shall it be the standards for the witches to come.

There are three points on the body in the process of awakening to the full nature of Being. Mind, body and spirit are the points that will show up, one in each of the points represented on the body. We use these points in rite and ritual to awaken them more fully. I mention this because I am thinking about each of them currently. Yes in thinking, I am showing that I tended to defer to mind in my growing up history, rapidly and early on approached by the second as spirit, thirdly as body. Maturity has had some advantages in learning;) We all have our more prominent legs on the mind/body/spirit tripod that we are balancing out from time to time. The chakra system is useful, but in witchcraft, I like the system I learned for its simplicity and awarenessess.

Although I break away from time to time, I will be sharing what needs to be shared off and on, online. The internet is a distraction, yet it is also a tool that the subtle world wants me to use when they want me to oracle for them, as happens when they come through me to share. I must say, I still prefer this in person, directed to one or a few people, through my lips, rather than through my fingers here at the keys, but, a large gathering of words (of a general and occult witch nature) from here and other places is to be shared soon.

Allow them this, in silence.

The idea of modern ceremonial magic"k" is abhorrent to me. These types of rituals are primarily used to develop various states of consciousness that have nothing to do with creating change in the world around, nothing to do with magic itself, and have everything to do with developing megalomaniac tendencies in its practitioners.  Crowley can eat it. I find nothing of use in his work. These rituals are not witchcraft or magic, but are some de-evolved religious mutations designed to make the practitioner think he or she is actually doing something, while in fact they are just sitting and spinning on their ass in a fantasy that provides distraction. This distraction keeps them from being able to actually learn how to create real magical abilities in themselves through the practices that work. This is the big joke provided by the magicians from before, to let loose these fake CM rituals on the world, so that many would fall on the wayside, protecting the magic. Should I have let this information public? Time will tell. I just get so frustrated by all of the crap out there! A bone needs to be thrown now and again, so the traces can be found.

Rituals and rites used for magical work are actually very simple in practice, often silent. They create deep effects that reverberate through the practitioner and into the world around in many possible ways. Of course, as with any new form of knowledge and practice, there is a learning curve and tuning involved for the beginner in magic (hence the process of being taught or guided), but changes will be seen outside of oneself, otherwise you need to find a new line of work, because magic isn't your calling. Maybe be a fantasy writer?

Energy works on energy. Fields touch fields, with or without a rite or ritual, although they provide a certain time of focus to set everything in line...
